Domaine du Guéret

Situated in Chénas in the north of Beaujolais, the Gueret estate has belonged to the Favre-Curtelin family for several generations, family of Catherine Delaunay. It's spread over 32.5 acres: a little under nine acres is in Saint-Germaine-sur-l’Arbresle in the Beaujolais appellation with the remaining in La Bruyère in Moulin-au-Vent. This south-facing vineyard planted with old Gamay vines has one of the best soils of this appellation. Catherine Delaunay-Favre (above, left), recognized as one of the best oenologists of her generation, oversees all wine production.
