25 years of making Méthode Cap Classique
The calling card of Graham Beck Wines
Family‐owned Graham Beck Wines' sparkling wines are 100% Méthode Cap Classique which is the South African term for méthode champenoise. The Brut NV spends a minimum of two years bottle aging on the lees before disgorgement and is 100% hand-harvested estate Pinot Noir & Chardonnay.
The Brut NV is an iconic wine in South Africa and abroad. This is the wine which was served at Nelson Mandela’s historic presidential inauguration. It is also favored by the Obamas who selected it to toast his election as president of the United States.
Game Reserve Wines are a socially responsible choice
In November 2013, Graham Beck Wines extended their dedication to conservation efforts by partnering with the Wilderness Foundation, an internationally recognized organization dedicated to saving Africa’s wilderness and wildlife. Recognizing that the protection and sustainability of South Africa’s unique wilderness areas and natural heritage is dependent on socio-political and economic conditions within society, the Wilderness Foundation takes a holistic approach to implementing its mandate for conservation. For every bottle of Game Reserve Wines sold globally $3 Rand is donated to the foundation.
Graham Beck Wines is the only SA winery to have received three internationally recognized environmental and business ethics accreditations: "Championship Status" from the Biodiversity Winery Initiative for conservation practices and initiatives, Certified ISO 14001 for environmental sustainability practices and Accredited and Founding Member of The Wine Industry Ethical Trade Association, dedicated to the promotion and practice of "fair trade" in the agricultural industry.
